The design of the art exhibition along the canal emphasizes continuity and unity, with inspiration from the form of an infinity sign to symbolize the unending connection between the built environment and its natural surroundings.

This continuous design seamlessly integrates distinct programs into a cohesive spatial experience, where boundaries dissolve and the interplay between interior and exterior takes center stage.

The raised gallery spaces are carefully positioned to promote an immersive human experience with the landscape, allowing visitors to engage with the canal from elevated perspectives. These galleries frame the site as a water garden, with the canal functioning as a reflective pool that mirrors the surrounding environment, enhancing a sense of tranquility and introspection.

The design incorporates open-roof elements, creating semi-outdoor spaces that invite natural light and playfully engage with the shadows cast across the site. These spaces create a rhythm of light and shade, amplifying the sensory experience and fostering a connection between visitors and the natural environment.

The curvilinear forms and fluid transitions foster a dynamic interaction between art, water, and landscape. By uniting the site’s natural and cultural elements, the design reimagines the canal not only as a historic and functional waterway but also as a living, breathing entity central to the human experience.

This approach invites visitors to see the site as a continuous and timeless entity, where the past and present converge through the harmonious integration of architecture and nature.
